Classic chess is a two-player strategic board game played on an 8×8 grid consisting of 64 squares. Each player begins with 16 pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns. The primary objective is to checkmate your opponent’s king, placing it under threat of capture with no available escape. The game can be enjoyed solo against an artificial intelligence or locally with a friend on the same device. Additionally, the game features tools to help solve chess puzzles.
